VA-961 offers many different and unique programs to Richlands High School and Richlands Middle School Students.
Color Guard
Color Guard
VA-961's Color Guard team is an extracurricular AFJROTC team that is tasked with the responsibility of presenting the flag in various settings and events. All members of the Color Guard team practice drill and ceremony, proper uniform display, and the proper way to show respect to our nation's flag.
Raiders Team
Raiders Team
VA-961's Raiders team is an extracurricular AFJROTC team that is tasked with training for the Raiders Competition towards the end of the school year. All Raiders learn to give 110% effort, use teamwork, and hone physical adeptness to compete and win at Raiders events.
